Security camera installed on a tree in Ibirapuera Park, positioned above the construction barriers surrounding the renovation of the Marquise. The action inserts one additional camera among the many already present after the park’s concession to a private company. The work operates through a parasitic logic: the camera depends on the site itself to exist — powered by a small solar panel, clandestinely attached to the tree trunk, and connected to the Afro Brasil Museum’s Wi-Fi network. By surveilling the renovation carried out without public bidding by the park’s concessionaire, the installation questions the management, appropriation, and (re)monitoring of public space. The camera was removed by park staff after one day of operation.
